BAD BREATH IS OFTEN THE FIRST SIGN
Dental disease is one of the most common health problems in adult cats. Australian vets find some level of dental disease in 80% of dogs and cats over the age of three, according to the Australian Veterinary Association. It often shows up as:
- bad breath
- plaque build-up
- red or inflamed gums (gingivitis)
- sore mouths and fussy eating
Traditional dental care, like brushing or professional cleanings, can be stressful, expensive and hard to maintain.
