If your cat has chronic kidney disease, thyroid disease or is receiving a therapeutic veterinary diet, consult your veterinarian before use. Purrlys should not be used with an iodine-restricted diet unless approved by the treating veterinarian.

Based on the laboratory analysis results for Purrlys Premium Dental Probiotics for Cats and the current 1 g daily dose, each maximum daily dose contains less than 0.12 mg caffeine, less than 0.03 mg theobromine, less than 2 micrograms iodine and 2.16 mg phosphorus.

At 1 g per day, Purrlys provides less than 2 micrograms of iodine daily.

For normally fed adult cats, this is a small amount. FEDIAF’s current recommended iodine allowance for complete cat food is approximately 0.33 mg per 1,000 kcal, equivalent to around 66 micrograms in a 200 kcal daily diet. Purrlys therefore contributes less than roughly 3% of a normal adult cat’s recommended dietary amount. 1g= 2 scoops per day

 Purrlys is low in phosphorus, adding only 2.16 mg of phosphorus per day at the maximum adult dose of 1g.

For context, FEDIAF’s minimum phosphorus recommendation for complete adult cat food is approximately 0.64 g per 1,000 kcal for a normally active adult cat. A cat eating 200 kcal daily would therefore receive at least approximately 128 mg of phosphorus from its complete diet. Purrlys would add about 1.7% of that amount.
